I am not sure which day we will be in Magic Kingdom yet. Could I make 2 different reservations on 2 different days for Cinderellas Royal Table at our 60 day reservation window and cancel one without penalty? I would be cancelling one of them 1 week prior

    Hiya Kara,

Welcome to planDisney! When booking vacations to Walt Disney World Resort, my priority is making dining reservations. There are just so many incredible options at Walt Disney World Resort that I take where I dine very seriously!

Speaking of options, Kara, my mobile app often has multiple reservations for different days, times, and locations as I weigh the various options. The great news is that when you make reservations, you do not have to know with certainty where you want to dine and when. You can have two reservations for the same place on different days (as you iron out your itinerary) and even two reservations for the same place on the same day. The system will prevent you from making reservations that potentially overlap, but it won't prevent you from making reservations for two different days for Cinderella's Royal Table. Now, there are two things I do want to make you aware of for Cinderella's Royal Table. The first is what you've already started thinking of: cancellation policies. The cancellation policy for Cinderella's Royal Table (and most dining locations) is that you have until two hours before your reservation to cancel without penalty. If you cancel your dining reservation one week in advance, you'll be all set and receive a refund of your pre-payment. That brings me to my second "need to know" for Cinderella's Royal Table. When you make a reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table, you will be asked to prepay for the entire meal (including tax and gratuity) to secure the reservation. Since you are considering making two reservations, you will be charged for the full meal twice. Once you cancel one of the reservations (no later than two hours before the reservation time), you will receive a full refund for the price.

I hope this was helpful, Kara. Before I let you go, I did want to share another option for you for Cinderella's Royal Table. If the double pre-payment isn't comfortable for you, you can wait to make your reservation until you are sure of the date you want. Cinderella's Royal Table is incredibly popular, so there are no guarantees that a reservation will be available when you go back in, but it is not impossible. I've gotten hard-to-get reservations before because Guests cancel all the time. It is just a matter of patience and persistence at that point. Please come back and see us if you need anything else!

    Happy Planning,
