We're not staying on site, but I want to have the Magic Bands and use them instead of paper tickets to the theme parks. How do I go about doing this? Is there a way for offsite guests to purchase tickets in the form of a band in lieu of paper tickets?

    Hi Lori,

You will be able to use MagicBands during your visit! All tickets purchased from Disney are now hard, plastic, Radio Frequency enabled cards. Once you have your tickets, you can purchase MagicBands from a variety of locations at Walt Disney World including parks, resorts, Downtown Disney, and even Disney's Earport and The Magic of Disney at Orlando International Airport. A cast member will assist you in linking your ticket to your MagicBand

To save you some time when you arrive, I have a couple of suggestions. If you haven't already, create an account with My Disney Experience. You can create your account from your computer, but I highly recommend downloading the smartphone app. You can manage your MagicBands and FastPass+ selections from My Disney Experience. If you purchase your tickets in advance, you can link them to My Disney Experience and make FastPass+ selections up to thirty days in advance of your trip!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
    Have a magical day,
    Amy H.
