We will not be staying on resorts but plan to get to magic Kingdom early, can you get a stroller right when you walk in with early entry crowds or will you have to wait until 9 am official open to rent?

Hi, Samantha! Ha! I don't even know a Samantha! (I'm so sorry, I couldn't resist the Frozen 2 reference!) Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for the great question! Your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth will be here before you know it, so I am so glad to see that you are in planning mode! I think that is half the fun!

I am happy to report that stroller rentals are available at all four theme parks during early entry. This service is available to all guests, both those staying at Disney Resort Hotels and off-site guests. You won't need to wait for the official park opening. I love the convenience of renting a stroller in the parks and returning it as I exit. A single stroller can accommodate children up to 50 lbs., while a double stroller is good for up to 100 lbs. Park Hours have not been released yet for your dates, but Magic Kingdom Park tends to officially open at 9 am, as you noted. Be sure to double-check as your vacation gets closer. If you think you will need a stroller for several days, consider a length-of-stay rental to save some money, which I recommend you spend on a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar.

Arriving at the parks early really is one of the best strategies you can have to get the most out of your day, even without the early entry advantage. When visiting Magic Kingdom Park, I often like to head for Peter Pan's Flight first. It is a classic attraction, and the queue is just as wonderful as the ride itself! The wait for this experience can be long throughout the day, so I make it my priority in the morning, or I try to catch it near closing time. Staying late is another way to find some lower wait times. Since you are staying off-site, visiting your hotel for a mid-day nap may not be practical. I like to head to Columbia Harbour House in the afternoon. I grab a Lobster Roll and a cold drink, find a quiet table upstairs, and enjoy that air-conditioning for a while. It's a great way to reset.

I know you and your family are going to make some magical memories, Samantha! I hope this was helpful. Please don't hesitate to come see us again here at planDisney if you have additional questions. I promise not to make any more Olaf jokes!
