Hiya Marianne! Welcome back to planDisney. We’re so happy to see you again.
What a great idea to stop for a visit at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It is my absolute favorite of all the Disney Resort Collection hotels. I mean, you really cannot beat the incredible beauty and the tropical island ambiance.
Now, the only way you would be able to park your vehicle at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort would be if you have an
Advanced Dining Reservations at one of the restaurants at the resort. In that case, you can park there for up to three hours, so you would need to move your vehicle before heading anywhere else, like one of the theme parks. So, I’d recommend trying to snag a reservation at
‘Ohana on the day you plan to visit. It’s one of my favorite restaurants and a real fan favorite for a reason! Both breakfast and dinner are absolutely delicious!
Alternatively, you can park over at
Magic Kingdom Park. From there, just hop on the
Monorail and enjoy a scenic ride on the Highway in the Sky as you head over to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Standard vehicle parking at Magic Kingdom Park currently costs $25 for the day, but that rate is subject to change. If you do decide to take this route, I recommend leaving between 30-45 minutes to get to the resort if you have any time-specific plans.
Marianne, if you do end up visiting Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, don’t forget to pick up a DOLE Whip from
Pineapple Lanai. There is nothing quite like a refreshing frozen treat on a hot Florida day, so a DOLE Whip is sure to hit the spot! If I were you, I would get the Pineapple and Vanilla swirl. It’s the best combination if you ask me!
I do hope this answer has been helpful to you! Please feel free to stop by again with any other questions you may have as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Bye for now!
