If we are not staying on property can we still return with a same day ticket? And will we have to pay for parking again?

Hello and welcome back to planDisney, Emily!

Congratulations are in order for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit! I know you can’t wait to make unforgettable memories with your family and friends.

Yes, even as an off-property guest, you can visit the theme park of your choice, leave and return later in the day to that same theme park to finish the night. For example, you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park at 9:00 AM, and at 1:30 PM, you decide that you are ready to grab a bite to eat or get some rest back at your hotel, only to return because you were able to snag a virtual queue for TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise later in the day. All you will need to do is return and scan your ticket again, and that is it. In addition, no need to worry about paying for parking a second time, the fee that you paid to park earlier in the day is valid at all four theme parks for that day. Just show the cast member your receipt, and you can proceed and park.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to return and let us know how we can help.

    Have a magical time!
