If we are not staying on property do we still have the option to purchase tickets by making a deposit and then paying the balance as we go…?

    Hi Paula,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for dropping by with your question about Theme Park Tickets.  It looks like you are planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort next spring, what a great time to visit!

One of the many perks of booking a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package that includes both Theme Park Tickets and a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel Stay is the option to pay a deposit to reserve your package and then pay the balance owing at your convenience, prior to the pay in full date.  If you are choosing to purchase Theme Park Tickets only, the full balance will be due at the time of purchase.  What I like to do is to purchase a few tickets at a time, so it feels like I am paying down the balance as our visit approaches.  I do recommend keeping an eye on the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to make sure your dates are still available.  If you purchase your Theme Park Tickets too close to your travel dates, you do run the risk of limited Theme Park Availability.

I hope this information is helpful, Paula.  If you have any other questions, please come back and visit planDisney again.  We are always happy to help.
