Hey there, Jennifer! Welcome to
planDisney. It's always nice to see a fellow North Carolinian stop by to chit-chat about an upcoming
Walt Disney World vacation!
It sounds like you have a fun evening planned one day during your most magical trip! I love checking out some of the
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels during my vacations as well. It can be tricky to park your vehicle at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that you aren't staying at or that you don't have a reservation for a table service restaurant. It really depends on the time of year and the security guard working at that time. Sometimes, I've been let in with no problem to dine at a quick-service dining location and other times I've been turned away and asked to park elsewhere. If you'd rather not risk it, I have another idea for you. Instead of heading straight to the resort, plan on visiting Disney Springs first. It's a fun place to shop around and would be the perfect start to your evening of fun - plus all of the parking at the different
Disney Springs garages are free. Then, you can hop on one of the buses marked for Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Once there, you can enjoy your meal and then take the Disney Skyliner over to
Disney's Beach Club Resort. When you are done with your ice cream run you can hop back on a bus over to Disney Springs where you started. It's as easy as bibbidi bobbidi boo!
I hope this helps you get to where you'd like to go during your trip, Jennifer. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun!
Jackie H.
