Hi Tina,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with a question about your upcoming
Disney World visit. let's take a look.
You’ll be glad to know that all theme park tickets let you leave and come back to the same park on the same day - super helpful for building in a bit of flexibility! When my girls were younger, we’d often head back to our Disney Resort around midday for a nap. These days, we still like taking a break in the afternoon - whether it's cooling off in the resort pool or just resting our feet. If we know we’ll be out late for Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, a Disney After Hours event, or one of the seasonal parties, a midday rest helps us stay energized for the fun ahead.
The only time you wouldn’t be able to re-enter a park is if it reaches capacity, which is pretty rare. If that ever happens, you’ll get a notification in the
My Disney Experience app. It’s most common around the holidays, so during most times of the year, you should be fine!
You’ll also be happy to know that if you’re driving to the parks, you only need to pay for
parking once per day. That one fee covers parking at all four theme parks, so you’re free to come and go - no need to pay again if you decide to hop to another park later in the day!
I definitely recommend using the
Car Locator feature in the My Disney Experience app - it’s such a lifesaver after a long day in the parks! You can quickly save your parking spot info, so when you're ready to head back to your car, you're not stuck wandering around trying to remember where you parked.
I hope this information is helpful, Tina. Have a wonderful stay at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Warm hugs,
Candace
