I am not staying at the Polynesian resort, can I visit the barefoot pool bar? I am visiting the magic kingdom and staying at the all stars movie resort

    Hi Kelly,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question! One of the biggest reasons why I keep going back to visit Walt Disney World Resort is due to the fact that no two visits are the same because of how much variety and things to do there are at the Disney Resorts Collection hotels.

I’m happy to say that you can absolutely take a monorail or Walt Disney World Water Transportation over to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort from Magic Kingdom Park in order to enjoy a beverage or a snack at any of that Resort’s dining locations, including the Barefoot Pool Bar. Because “The Poly” really is one of my favourite hotels, I often skip over there just to soak in the aloha vibes as a break in my Disney Day. Don’t forget that you can also grab a delicious Dole Whip at Pineapple Lanai or a fun Tiki beverage at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, if you’re visiting the hotel after 3:00 PM.

The only caveat is that, because you’re staying at another hotel (Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort), you won’t be able to take a dip in one of the hotel’s beautiful pools as they’re reserved for hotel Guests only.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
