Hi! If I am not staying on-site and have a 10-day ticket with Fastpass reservations, if I upgrade to an Annual Pass the day before my first park visit, will I lose 3 days of Fastpasses because Passholders are only allowed 7 days of FPs per 30-day period?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Steven! Planning for a Disney vacation can be almost as magical as the vacation itself. I love booking FastPass+ selections, getting excited about experiencing my favorite attractions as well as some of the newest attractions in Walt Disney World. A 10-day visit to the parks sounds absolutely wonderful and with that many opportunities for FastPass+ selections, you are sure to experience all of the amazing fun the parks have to offer. If you haven’t already done so, I highly recommend you try to get a FastPass+ selection for the newest attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. I had the pleasure of experiencing it myself for the first time last month and it truly blew me away, exceeding all of my expectations.

The only thing I can think of that would be better than 10 days of magical park visits is an entire year of Walt Disney World magic! As a Disney Annual Passholder you will not only receive park admission but discounts on dining, merchandise, recreation and tours, as well as special offers for stays at Disney Resort hotels. I am pleased to inform you that when you upgrade your existing park ticket to an Annual Pass upon arrival, you will maintain all of your existing FastPass+ selections. When you arrive at a park on your first day, just speak with a Cast Member at either a theme park ticket window or a Guest Relations location to upgrade to the Annual Pass

I hope that you have a wonderful vacation and an entire year’s worth of Disney magic! Please stop back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions.
