I am not staying at one of our vacation homes. I want to buy a ticket to only one park the week of April 18 to April 22 but noticed all the parks are not available. As a DVC member am I able to get tickets, if so where can I buy them

Hey Karen! Welcome to planDisney and Welcome Home! I'm glad that you stopped by with your question. I love chatting with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member!

Planning Walt Disney World Resort vacations is my favorite pastime, but unfortunately, it doesn't always go exactly as planned. I did check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar, and I see what you mean. It seems as if the Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass system for that week are completely sold out. Since everyone needs a Theme Park Reservation to enter all four of the theme parks, unfortunately, that means that even as a DVC Member, if all of the parks are unavailable, you will not be able to enter a theme park that day. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" I have some suggestions for you to make sure you still have a magical spring getaway!

First, I would suggest checking the Theme Park Pass Reservation availability often. Other Guests' plans change all the time, so, a reservation may become available! I know several people who have snagged a Theme Park Pass Reservation on a sold-out day at the last minute. So, check often! If you do see any availability, you can purchase your ticket online on the My Disney Experience website.

If you don't find any Theme Park Reservation availability, I suggest spending the day splashing around Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park! The attractions here may be wet, but the Disney storytelling and magic certainly are not watered down. While discounts and prices are subject to change, right now, DVC Members can get a discount on tickets and only pay $49 plus tax for adults! And guess what! No Park Pass Reservation is required! In fact, if you want to wait and see what the weather will be like and don't want to buy your discounted ticket online in advance, you can just buy your ticket at the front gate of the water park when you arrive ready for the fun. Just be sure that you bring your ID and new digital DVC Membership Card downloaded from Disney MagicMobile on the My Disney Experience app to get your discounted price. Make some waves, Karen!

No Theme Park Reservation? No problem! You can spend an entire magical Disney day dining, shopping, enjoying entertainment, and living it up at Disney Springs. If you haven't experienced Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil & Disney yet, I highly recommend that you do! It is absolutely incredible. I laughed, I cried, and I loved it so much I'm seeing it for the second time next month. It looks as if there is still availability for the shows on April 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd. You can purchase your tickets online or at the Box Office, and you won't regret it!

Karen, one of my favorite things about being a DVC Member is vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort often and being able to enjoy the more leisurely side of a Disney vacation, and I hope you enjoy the same magic next week! Stop by any time with any planning or DVC questions you may have!

    See ya real soon,

    Mandy
