we are not staying on the grounds of dw. so therefore, when we come each day should we park at the same park everyday or should we park at the theme park we are going to that day?

    Debbie:

    That depends.

If you have one-park-only tickets, I suggest getting a map and driving straight to each park's lot each day.

If you have parkhopper passes and are planning on visiting multiple parks, you need to consider that the park you visit first may close earlier than the second you visit.  Buses typically run one hour after a park closes.  But let's say you park and go to Animal Kingdom first (which usually closes around 5 p.m.) and then take the bus over to Epcot (which usually closes at 9 p.m.).  There would be no buses from Epcot to Animal Kingdom after Illuminations ends around 9:15 p.m.  You would need to drive to Animal Kingdom and then hop in the car and drive to Epcot.  Your parking pass is good for the day, so I recommend moving your car to the other park.  I would recommend this strategy for every park except for the days you visit Magic Kingdom.

You will need to park at the Ticket & Transportation Center for access to Magic Kingdom.  From there, you'll either take the monorail or the ferry to the Magic Kingdom.  Once you're parked. Stay parked and again, if you have parkhopper passes, take the monorail to Epcot or a bus to Disney Studios or Animal Kingdom.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
