If I am not staying at a Disney World resort, but I am going to the parks, can I still use the Disney World buses to get to and from the parks?

    Hello Jack!
    Welcome to planDisney.

It's a pleasure to assist fellow guests from the UK, and thank you for sending in this question because I'm sure many visitors to Walt Disney World might be wondering the same thing.

As a Walt Disney World Resort guest you are welcome to enjoy all the facilities outside of the theme parks - such as visiting Disney Resort hotels for dining or shopping, Disney Springs for more dining or shopping! and full use of all the different Disney Transportation options - buses, boats, monorail and Disney Skyliner.

Subject to your park ticket, you can use Disney transport to travel between the theme parks. (As you are from the UK, I'm assuming you might have a 7-Day or 14-Day Magic Ticket, which includes park hopping.).   You may use Disney transport to travel between theme parks - full details of all routes can be found here.   You can also travel from theme parks to Disney Resort hotels, and from Disney Resort hotels to Disney Springs.   To make your way to the two water parks - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach - you can take a bus from Disney Resort hotels (sometimes requiring a bus transfer at Disney Springs).

Sometimes it's fun to enjoy Disney transport as a relaxing pastime in itself.  Last year we tested all four by taking a bus from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to EPCOT.  From the International Gateway entrance of the park we enjoyed a round-trip on the Skyliner.  We returned by foot to the front of EPCOT and jumped on a monorail to Magic Kingdom Park and then took a lovely boat ride back to Wilderness Lodge!  Goals!!

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  You can also send me a direct question if you wish.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday!
