Hey there, Alyssa. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney to chit-chat with me about your question.
Geyser Point Bar & Grill is actually one of my favorite places to relax at when I take an afternoon break from the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Not a lot of people mention it so I'm really glad that it made your must-try list. It's kind of a hidden gem. You'll find appetizers, main courses, desserts and a really great bar to enjoy offerings from while you are there. If you like spicy cocktails, I recommend trying one of their spicy margaritas. It's not
on the menu but I order it every time and the bartenders that work there make them just right! A menu item that I have to get every time is the cheesy barbecue brisket with housemade chips. It's an appetizer and the brisket is like a warm dip and it is just so, so good. For entrees, I've been ordering the roasted salmon which is served over Warm Ancient Grains, Petit Greens, Grilled Vegetables, and Lemon Vinaigrette. It's such a good menu item especially if you want something a little bit more substantial after indulging in a bunch of snacks all day.
Alyssa, honestly my first move would be to just drive to
Disney's Wilderness Lodge first and see if they will let you park there. I've had really great luck with this in the past, especially if it isn't a holiday week or anything like that. When you pull up to the guard shack, let the Cast Member know your plans and they may very well let you enter and park there. If not, and you are driving yourself, you'll need to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center. This is going to run you right around $25.00 for standard parking which is why I suggest going there and asking first so you don't have to pay the money if you don't have to. From the TTC you will need to take transportation over to Magic Kingdom Park - this can either be the ferry boat or monorail. Then, you'll need to transfer to another boat over to the resort itself. However, if you are planning on visiting another theme park that day, just leave your car there while you pop over to Geyser Point Bar & Grill. You can take direct transportation from any of the theme parks over to the hotel and then back again when you are finished. Depending on how far away your hotel is, Alyssa, you can also look into using a ride-share service to get there. They can drop you off right outside of the resort's lobby.
I hope this helps you get to Geyser Point during your vacation, Alyssa. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help!
Enjoy!
