I am not staying at a Disney resort, but have purchased park tickets through Disney. I am purchasing magic bands and would like to attach the tickets to the band before I go. How do I do that?

    Hi Kathleen,

Nothing could be easier! Since you've already purchased Theme Park Tickets and MagicBands, simply link your admission tickets and MagicBands through your My Disney Experience account. Once this process is completed, your tickets and MagicBands will be associated in your My Disney Experience account. Afterward, you may go to any touch point at the Main Entrance of any Disney theme park and enjoy your visit.

I recommend locking your 3 FastPass+ choices up to 30 days in advance of each Disney theme park visit day. FastPass+ reservations booked ahead of time will also be associated with your MagicBands, even before arriving on Disney property! The same can be said of dining reservations which may be booked up to 180 days in advance. However, if you made dining reservations before purchasing admission tickets and MagicBands, remember to link them through My Disney Experience too.

Disney Mom Tip: If you buy the Disney Memory Maker, take care to link it to your My Disney Experience account. Then be sure to wear your MagicBands on attractions offering PhotoPass photos and videos. Also whenever you cross paths with Disney PhotoPass photographers, ask them for Magic Shots and Animated Magic Shots. You never know who will be showing up in your pictures! Oh and don't forget to say "Mickey Cheese!"

Wishing you a most unforgettable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
