We are not staying at a Disney Resort. How do we get from park to park especially from Animal Kingdom to Magic Kingdom?

    Hi Melinda,

If you have your own car, I would drive it from park to park. Once you've paid for parking, you can show your receipt at any of the theme park's parking plazas during that day & you will not be required to pay the parking fee again that day. There are signs that will easily lead you from Disney's Animal Kingdom (DAK) to Magic Kingdom (MK).

You could also take a Disney bus from DAK to the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC) for the MK. From there you will need to take the Monorail or ferry boat over to MK. Your trip from DAK to MK may take you 45 minutes to an hour to get there.

If you have reservations at MK you are trying to make, you could take a taxi. A taxi would take you to the TTC so you'd have to take the monorail or ferry boat to the MK.

Another option is to take a bus or taxi from DAK to the Contemporary Resort & walk to the MK. It is about a 10 - 15 minute walk depending on how fast you walk.

I am not sure which other parks you will be traveling between. If you don't have your own car & you let me know, I'm happy to help you with routes. Ourlaughingplace.com is a non-official Disney website but does have a very useful transportation wizard that could also help you plan your routes.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
