Hello, we are not staying at a Disney Resort but want to use magic bands for the parks and dinner reservations Etc. Can we get our names on the insides of the magic bands or is that feature only available for those staying on property at Disney?

Hello Nikki, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.

I am so excited to hear that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort next month. I am sure you are putting the finishing touches on a great trip. I share your love of MagicBands too. They make visiting Disney Theme Parks so much easier.

If you were a guest staying at a select Disney Resort Hotel, you would have the option to customize your MagicBands in one of eight solid colors and also personalize them with your name on the inside. Currently, guests staying off-site can purchase a standard, special edition, or limited edition MagicBand at a number of Disney Theme Parks, select shops at Disney Springs and even online or through the Shop Disney Parks Mobile App. Unfortunately, these items cannot be personalized, but they can be linked to your My Disney Experience accounts. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
