If we are not staying at a Disney resort, can we leave the park and come back the same day?

    Welcome to planDisney, Stevie!

Absolutely, whether you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel or elsewhere, you have the flexibility to leave a Walt Disney World Resort theme park and return to the same park on the same day. This feature is quite handy if you'd like to take a midday break, head back to your accommodation for a rest, or even explore some of the dining and shopping options outside the parks.

Just be sure to keep your park admission (whether it's a MagicBand, card, or linked to your smartphone through the My Disney Experience app) with you, as you'll need it to re-enter the park. Also, if you're planning to park hop (visit more than one park in a day), make sure you have a ticket with the Park Hopper Option added.

Leaving and returning to the park on the same day offers a great way to balance the excitement of the parks with some relaxation, making your visit even more enjoyable.

If you have any more questions or need further advice on planning your day at the Walt Disney World Resort, feel free to reach out. We're here to help make your visit as magical as possible!

Enjoy your magical adventure in April!
