    We are not staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. Are we still able to purchase a meal plan?

    Thanks for visiting with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Currently, the Disney Dining Plan is only available for guests who are staying at one of the Walt Disney World resorts and have park tickets, which is called a Magic Your Way Package.

    When my family stays off property, we purchase Disney gift cards in advance to help us stay on budget. Months ahead of our vacation, we buy gift cards and use them only for dining. Once I make the Advance Dining Reservation, I have an idea then about how much we will spend for each meal. 

    Maybe in the future, Disney will offer this special feature to all Disney guests no matter where they are staying!
