If you are not staying in a Disney Resort, can you still use Disney transportation to and from the parks? We are staying in Downtown Disney and were hoping to use the bus to get to the parks. Also, do you have to have tickets for that day already to ride

    Hi, Patricia!

The Downtown Disney Resorts provide bus transportation to and from the parks.  You will want to check with your specific resort for the schedule.   Make note of where the bus drops you off at each park so you have an easy return back to your resort after a magical time at the parks.

You can buy your park tickets online, at your local AAA office, at your resort, or once you arrive at the parks.  I suggest getting them ahead of time so you can head right to the fun as soon as you get dropped off.  The lines to purchase tickets at the parks can get long, and this is totally avoidable by just planning ahead and getting your tickets before you even leave home.

I hope you have a great time in WDW!  The Downtown Disney Resorts are in a great location, so enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
