I am not staying at a Disney Resort. Can I still make dinner reservations at any of the Disney Resorts? If so, how far in advance can I make them. We are planning to come in January 2020.

    Hey there, Amy!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hEAR you are planning to visit Walt Disney World Resort in January!

Dining around the "World" is one of my very favorite things to do when visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth!" You do not have to stay on property in order to dine at one of the Disney Resort hotels. I'm happy to report that dining reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463, by going online or via My Disney Experience mobile app.  I do recommend that you begin making your dining reservations as soon as possible since many of the popular Table-Service restaurants can book up several months in advance.

With the My Disney Experience mobile app, you can also manage your vacation plans, view attraction wait times, navigate the parks and book FastPass+ selections and dining reservations while on the go. It's such a handy tool to use when visiting the parks!

I hope this information is helpful, Amy. Let us know if you have any new questions or would like dining recommendations. We would love to assist you again in planning a magical trip for your family!

    Bon Appétit,
