if we are not staying at a Disney resort how can i get a birthday button for my daughter

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, David! Thank you for stopping by to bring us your question.

Celebrating a birthday at the most magical place on earth is extra special! There are many ways to celebrate BIG. How does a special Character meal for the guest of honor with their favorite Disney pals sound? Or an in-room celebration to surprise the birthday mouseketeer upon arrival? How about a personalized ear hat with their name embroidered? What a great gift and keepsake from the special visit. There are so many magical ways to celebrate!

David, birthday buttons are a great way to alert cast members and other guests that you are celebrating. The honorary guest will receive birthday wishes throughout the day making them feel so special. Plus, you never know what pixie dust might land on the birthday guest thanks to that button. Once you arrive, simply stop by any retail store inside the theme parks, Guest Relations location, or select stores in Disney Springs, and ask a cast member for a complimentary button.

Want to personalize your button in an extra-special way? Bring your button to Disney's Days of Christmas at Disney Springs or Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Magic Kingdom where you can have a cast member beautifully personalize the button for a minimal fee. Personalized buttons make great photo-ops!

I hope this information was helpful! For any additional planning questions, please do stop by and see us.

    Wishing you an unforgettable celebration!
