If I am not staying on Disney property and do not buy a hopper ticket, can we take the monorail from Epcot to the Grand Floridian for our reserved character meal? If so, how much time should we allow for travel?

    Hi Michelle,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Your theme park admission includes the use of the Walt Disney World transportation system, so yes the Monorail would be a unique way to get to your dining destination!

I would allow at least 60 minutes for this journey, you will need to exit the monorail at the Transportation and Ticket Center and transfer on to the Resort Monorail.

You also have the option of taking a bus from Epcot to the Grand Floridian, I would allow 45-60 minutes for this as well...I don't like to be late!

    Hope this helps!
