We are not staying on Disney property, but would like to take the monorail from Magic Kingdom to Chef Mickey. Are we allowed to do that or do you have to be staying on property to use the monorail?

    Hi Joanne,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for sending us this excellent question.

You'll be happy to find out that all Guests are welcome to use the complementary Walt Disney World Resort transportation system. So the answer to your question is a resounding, YES! You may certainly use the Resort Monorail that will take you from Magic Kingdom Park to Chef Mickey's. For other useful recommend routes, please read this Transportation - FAQ too.

Disney Mom Tip: If you are planning to visit more than one of the 4 Disney Theme Parks, 2 Disney Water Parks or even Disney Springs on the same day, save the Parking receipt then show it to the Cast Member at your next destination. That way you won't have to pay for parking again that same day.

Wishing you an unforgettable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
