If we are not staying at a Disney hotel, can we still purchase refillable mugs? If we do so,are they just for the day or can we use them for our 2 day adventure in Disney World?

    Hi Katie,

There is no doubt about it: proper hydration is essential when touring the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. Our days are often long, we are doing a lot of walking, and the Florida heat (especially at this time of year) is typically stronger than what many of us are used to at home. Therefore, you will definitely want to ensure that everyone in your travel party is drinking enough liquids throughout the day.

Unfortunately, the Disney Resort refillable mugs you are referencing are only eligible for refills of coffee, tea and soft drinks at select self-service stations located only at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Currently refillable mugs are not sold at any of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks or Water Parks.

However, you may be pleased to know that complimentary ice water can be obtained from most Quick-Service dining locations. This is definitely not only the healthiest, but also the most economical way to keep your family properly hydrated during park touring!

    Bottoms Up!
