If you are not staying at a Disney hotel can you still take part in the art of animation classes?

    Hi Leslie,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It is an honor to help you once again.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort itself is already awesome and taking part on the Drawing Classes at this Resort is surely a cool thing to do when you visit. While the Drawing Classes are offered only to Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can still visit the gorgeous grounds of the Resort, meet Lightning McQueen and his pals, visit Ariel and King Triton under the sea and enjoy the delicious meals offered at the Landscape of Flavors food court.

If you want to dive deeper into the history of the art of animation, I would suggest a visit to the Walt Disney Presents gallery tour at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This exhibit showcases Walt Disney's legendary creative genius and gives Guests some precious insights on how animation has evolved over the last 100 years.

Walking through this self-guided tour was one of the best experiences I've had on my honeymoon, as my husband and I discovered new facts about Walt Disney and his animation legacy.

After the tour, all Guests are welcome to enjoy a screening of the 15-minute film Walt Disney: One Man's Dream, showcasing historic film footage and rare audio recordings of his life.

I hope your next visit is as magical as it can be! If you ever have any more questions, please come back here to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

May the magic be with you!
