We are NOT staying at a Disney hotel in California and have bought one day pass for the Disney California adventure park. Are we able to leave and come back in the same day since we have little kids?

    Hi, Emran!

Your plan to take a mid-day break is perfect. There is a lot of walking and everyone will appreciate a little rest or pool time to break up your magical day at Disney California Adventure Park. You are welcome to leave the park and return later in the day, however you cannot switch parks without the Park Hopper option. As long as you return to Disney California Adventure Park, you are good to go!

Disney California Adventure Park is so much fun for families. You simply must visit Radiator Springs! You will feel like you stepped right onto Route 66 as you dine at Flo's V8 Café or take a spin on Radiator Springs Racers. Although you are taking a mid-day break, try to be back as dusk as the flashing neon turns on for the night and classic "Cars" music plays throughout the town.

Hopefully everyone will be rested enough to stay for the World of Color. This nighttime spectacular combines music, lights, projection, and many surprises. It is a perfect way to end your Disney day!

See you real soon at Disney California Adventure Park!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
