Welcome to planDisney. I see you will soon be traveling to the planet Batuu, at the edge of the galaxy. This wondrous planet offers amazing experiences like piloting the Millennium Falcon, sipping blue milk, and shopping for items that you can only find in a galaxy far, far away. One of my favorite experiences is building your own custom droid at the Droid Depot. Let’s get to your question, and I can tell you more.
Based on my research, it looks like you can book your Droid Depot reservation once you arrive in the US. Although it's not mandatory, you can check availability and book your experience using this link to the
Droid Depot webpage. You can also use the My Disney Experience app to search for Droid Depot; it will take you to the information page, where you can check availability. I just checked, and there are plenty of openings for the first couple of days after your arrival, so you shouldn’t have trouble finding a time that works best for you.
Since you will be there, I have to tell you about one of the best festivals of the year, the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. You can embark on a culinary adventure across 6 continents, experiencing unique food, drinks, and desserts at kiosks all throughout the World Showcase. You can also experience the Eat to the Beat Concert series with performers you know and love. Keep an eye on the
