I'm excited to hear you'll be visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort in just a couple of months! The holiday season is a magical time to experience everything that the theme parks and Disney Resorts hotels have to offer.
MagicBands and
MagicBand+ are available to order ahead of your trip for a special pre-arrival price if you are staying in a Disney Resorts hotel. Once you log into your My Disney Experience account, click on "My MagicBands and Cards" and scroll down to "Your MagicBand Order." This is where you should see the "Get Started" button to click under each of the Guests listed on your resort reservation. If you are not staying in a Disney Resorts hotel, this option will not be available to you. You'll need to purchase them on shopDisney.com or once you arrive onsite at many merchandise locations.
If you are staying in a Disney Resorts hotel, it's possible that there may be an error on the site. Your best bet will be to
call the Website Support line or the My Disney Experience, MagicBand, and MagicBand+ line to speak to a Cast Member for assistance. They should be able to identify the problem at hand and provide a quick solution. You could always try logging out and logging back in to see if anything changes. Glitches happen from time to time and a simple reboot may be all it takes.
During my Disney vacations, I can't go anywhere without my MagicBand. It's an essential accessory and one that has incredible value. Being able to open my resort room door, use it for purchases around Walt Disney World, and entry into the parks is amazing. It allows me to not have to carry too many items during my park days.
