What are the not spicy food at Tiana's Place?

Well hello there, Christine! Welcome back to planDisney. We are so glad you've stopped by again to ask us another important planning question!

You're almost here! You arrive in a few days and I am so excited for you to experience all the magic at Disneyland Resort. I had a really fun opportunity to try out a bunch of the food offerings at Tiana's Palace with a few of my planDisney panel buddies when it first opened. If you aren't a fan of spicy foods, I definitely would stay away from the gumbo options and even the Cajun Spiced Half Chicken. I had the Gulf Shrimp and Grits and it was so delicious. I also really loved the Buttermilk Cornbread and Chickory Cold Brew. Of course, I also had to try the House-filled Beignet! If you like lemon, I would add that to your list too.

The great thing about Tiana's Palace is it is considered a quick service option and no reservations are needed. You just walk up and wait in line to go through to order your food and find a spot outside in the dining area. There also is the option for mobile ordering, however, I think walking up and waiting in line is the better option if you have the time because the food is presented better that way. If you choose mobile order, it will come in to-go containers and I feel like it takes away from the experience if you want to dine there.

Christine, I hope this information is helpful to you. I hope you have a wonderful time during your visit. See you real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
