Hi Hannah, and Boo to You! My family attended
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party a few weeks ago, and we had so much fun!
The party begins at 7:00 p.m., but multiple Cast Members told us we would be able to enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 p.m, and we arrived around 6:00 p.m. and were able to enter. For those few hours before the party begins, it will be just a regular day in Magic Kingdom Park – things like trick or treating, special effects on the Mad Tea Party and Space Mountain, and other special features of the party will not be available until you hear the spooky announcement at 7:00 p.m. that the frightful fun has begun.
When you enter the park, you’ll be given a party wristband and a party guidemap. Then, you’ll be directed down a special side street, where you’ll be given your trick or treat bag and have your chance to collect your first bits of candy. There are also Cast Members selling exclusive party merchandise here, as well as some fun decorations. My little ghouls loved this introduction to the party, and it’s a great chance to check out all the other Guests in their costumes.
If you’re using
Walt Disney World Bus Transportation, the bus will pick you up at your resort and drop you at Magic Kingdom Park exactly the same way it does any other day – except you might see some vampires, superheroes, and witches on the bus with you! You can always ask a Cast Member at the parks or in your resort if you have questions about transportation, but the buses run throughout the party and the last bus will depart Magic Kingdom Park at 1:00 a.m., giving you time to enjoy every last spooktacular moment.
Wishing you happy haunts and a magical vacation,
Robyn
