We are going to the Not so scary party in a couple of weeks. How will the staff know that we are part of the party and won’t make us leave the park?

Hello Paola, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.

I am so excited to hear that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few weeks. You must be so excited. A hauntingly good time awaits you at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I am assuming that you will be spending most of your day in the Magic Kingdom prior to the start of the party.

Cast Members will begin distributing wristbands to guests who hold tickets to the party at around 4:00 p.m. You can find them in the City Hall area. They will scan your MagicBand to confirm you have a ticket to the party and then give you a wristband and some other goodies. Keep in mind the wristband distribution time is subject to change. I would suggest asking a Cast Member when you arrive for the exact time and location. When the Magic Kingdom closes at 6:00 p.m. to regular park guests, you will be asked to show your wristband to enter and remain in certain areas of the Magic Kingdom.

Remember if you are planning to wear a costume, please review the official costuming guidelines for adults. Also, make sure that your wristband can be seen at all times during the party. Have a spooktacular time.

    Happy Halloween,
    Andrea
