Is the Not so Scary Halloween Party worth the extra ticket? After you have been at the parks during the day, why are you spending more money to go back in the evening?

I wondered the same thing before my family attended Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party for the first time.  I asked around the virtual community a bit and was overwhelmed by the positive response I received.  Of course once I had heard all that hype I had to give it a go and see what all the fuss was about.  I did just that and haven't regretted a dime that we've spent on our party tickets since then!

My family enjoys the opportunity to dress in theme and go to a Halloween celebration that offers something for everyone.  My 8-year-old daughter loves the trick-or-treating while my 14-year-old loves the ability to ride Space Mountain with little to no wait.  My personal favorite is the Halloween parade and HalloWishes fireworks show.  It's just an all around fun and festive evening that serves to kick off fall in grandiose style for our family.

As for the fatigue factor, after having spent an entire day at the parks, well, we don't.  We spend the day resting up for the evening's festivities.  Most often we just play at the pool or do some shopping at Downtown Disney.  After that we enjoy eating an early dinner (around 4:00) before heading over to the Magic Kingdom.  In the past we've been able to enter the park right around 4:00 by using just a Halloween party ticket.  We take the opportunity to experience some of our favorite attractions before the party officially begins at 7:00.  By the time midnight rolls around (and the kids have all crashed from those trick-or-treat candy highs) we are all sufficiently exhausted and ready for a good night's sleep.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is something I highly recommend; it's on our must do list every trip!
