Hey there, Jacquanline! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with such a great vacation planning question. I just love chatting Disney with my pals, pal!
Jacquanline, aren't you
so excited that
Fantasmic! has returned?! Like you and your kiddo, this incredible nighttime spectacular was always a must-do for my family and me when we were at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and we are counting down the days until we get to see it again. I am beyond excited to hear that you and your family will be returning to Walt Disney World Resort soon, but what's less than exciting to hear is that you weren't able to snag a
Fantasmic! Dining Package. As someone who also loves taking advantage of the fantastic dining experience and VIP seating for the show, I absolutely understand your disappointment and frustration, so let's chat about your options.
While there is no way for me to know if more Fantasmic! Dining Packages will be released, I do recommend checking back for availability often. I have noticed that sometimes, the Dining Packages are not released right away when your Advance Dining Reservation booking window opens 60 days before your arrival, so it's possible that they are not booked but just have not been released yet. If they are booked, I still recommend checking back often. Guests' plans change all the time, so you never know what you may find! I'll be wishing upon every evening star that you can snag a dining package, Jacquanline!
No announcements have been made yet about whether or not Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane entrances will be available for Fantasmic! So, I recommend keeping a close eye on the list of available Lightning Lane entrances on the
Lightning Lane page on the Walt Disney World website and the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements as soon as they drop.
If all else fails and you find yourself without a Fantasmic! Dining Package or Lightning Lane entrance, Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" You can absolutely still catch the show by waiting in the standby queue. You can arrive at the amphitheater as early as 90 minutes before showtime, so I recommend arriving at least an hour early. Just come prepared with snacks and activities to help pass the time. While waiting in line, we always love playing on the
Play Disney Parks app and playing the Head's Up app. Some of our biggest laughs together have been while waiting in line, so just make it a part of the fun!
I hope this was helpful, Jacquanline, and I really hope you and your family have the most magical time at Fantasmic! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in planDisney!
Use your imagination and dream a fantastic dream,
Mandy
