We do not want to purchase tickets for the Not-So-Scary-Halloween Party, but still wish to be at the Magic Kingdom after 7pm. Will we still have access to much of the park while the event is going on?

    Hi Emily,

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place throughout the Magic Kingdom and requires a separate special event ticket to attend. On the evenings that it is held, the park closes early and only those Guests with the special event tickets are allowed to enter or remain in the park when the party begins at 7 p.m. Once party goers enter the park, they are given a special wrist band which indicates that have purchased tickets to this event.  Cast Members will be stationed at the entrances to the different themed lands. Guests who aren't wearing wrist bands for this event will be asked to make their way down Main Street to exit the park.

This is one of my favorite events at the Magic Kingdom.  There are so many fun things to do. I love looking at all the cool costumes that people wear for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade is way cool and the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks is a great way to end the evening.

If you don't want to attend MNSSHP and your schedule is flexible during your visit, you may want to consider visiting another Disney park and going to the Magic Kingdom on a day when this event isn't being held.

Wishing you many magical memories :) Allison
