Hi...we did not purchase the meal plan for this trip. My kids are all 10 & above so considered adults. Will they be able to order entrees from the kids menu but request an adult portion (and obviously pay more)? Thanks!

    Hello, Deborah!

Planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with older kids is something our family is just starting to explore. This past summer we surprised our teen with a quick trip and it was such a different, yet exciting visit. Our vacations have been magical at every age, but it was great to watch him experience Disney Parks in a whole new way.

While my son's interests and attraction preferences may have changed, his taste in food is very much the same as when he was a toddler. Occasionally he likes to try new flavors, but for the most part he sticks with the items he knows he likes. He also now eats almost as much as the rest of us put together! Last summer I asked about being able to order him a meal or two from the kids menu and at most of the Disney restaurants we visited I was told he could order an "adult-portion" of the same items for an increased price. When you arrive, I suggest asking your server if this option is available.

Have an incredible vacation, Deborah, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.

    Pixie Dust,
