Welcome to planDisney Larry, and thanks for stopping by with your question. This sounds like a task, not for the faint of heart. I can help guide you on the right path to get your trip started.
Every visit to
Walt Disney World is a journey from start to finish. You are taking that first step and there are a bunch of ways to figure out which of the many
Disney Resort Collection hotels fit your group's needs. There are all types of different rooms and resorts, this trip being heavily laden with children I would suggest the resort with the biggest pool on Disney property.
Disney's Art of Animation surrounds you with classic Disney and Pixar characters and theming. It also is home to the Big Blue Pool which is inspired by "Finding Nemo." This resort will draw you in with its storybook landscapes and detailed courtyards. A great place to start is the
Vacation Planning Page. You will find what's new at the parks, what kind of vacation packages are available, places to stay, and information on theme park tickets. If you are not comfortable building a package online you can always
call Walt Disney World and speak with reservations.
With 5 days to explore the parks, I would recommend a two-park-a-day plan. A perfect start for me would be an early morning at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park heading straight to
Kilimanjaro Safaris for the first look of the morning across the savanna. Once I had had my fill for the morning I would return to my room and let my feet cool off for a while. I would then go to the place that makes me feel special,
Magic Kingdom Park. The smell of popcorn while walking down Main Street U.S.A. and seeing
Cinderella Castle as the perfect backdrop for a group picture. Make sure you check the showtimes for the return of the fireworks extravaganza
Happily Ever After. A perfect way to end every night.
I hope this information helps lead you to the information you need for planning your visit with your youth group. If you have any other planning needs please head back to
ask me a question, and I will be happy to help.
See ya real soon,
Jeremy A.
