Hi there, Francia--welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for sailing over with your
Disney Vacation Club question. Let's go ahead and dive right in to find the information you're looking for.
A journey to where the sky meets the sea on
Disney Cruise Line is always a good idea. One great benefit of DVC Membership is the ability to exchange your
Vacation Points for a voyage on DCL. The
2024 and 2025 Points Charts are both currently viewable on the DVC website, and you're correct--no sailings appear to be scheduled for the rest of 2024 departing from California.
Francia, I also checked the DCL website to search for West Coast cruises, and there were no options for 2024 departures. For 2025, there are two repositioning sailings for the Disney Wonder that travel between San Diego and Vancouver that sound perfectly wonderful! Our family sailed on the Wonder on our very first Disney cruise, and I liked the smaller ship--we had never been on any cruises before, and it felt a little more manageable.
When in doubt, you can always contact
Member Services, where the Cast Members can pull up the specific details of your Membership and work with you to book a cruise or another magical Disney adventure. The sky's the limit!
I'm sorry this wasn't the answer you were hoping for, Francia, but I am sure you can put your Vacation Points to good use whether on land or at sea. If you have any other questions about your Membership and the ins and outs of exchanging points, please
reach out anytime! Thanks again for visiting planDisney.
Stay Magical!
Susan
