Not planning to use EMH too much but wondered if AK for evening EMH is a good choice? Coming Feb13-19,2011 with DS3 and DD8 and DH staying at POFQ. Thank you, I read this panel everyday-you folks are a great help!

    Christine:

I've always been one to get up with the sun for Early Magic Hours, but at the urging of one of my fellow moms on the panel, our family has begun enjoying Evening Magic Hours and the low crowds it brings after the fireworks.  Animal Kingdom, though, is, well, a different animal!

Last year, we visited Animal Kingdom and the experience was much different in the evening after dark.  Two attractions stand out: the Kilamanjaro Safaris at dusk when the animals were moving and much more active than during the day and Expedition Everest.

There's nothing like riding Expedition Everest--especially in the first car--at night!  You can see the lights of the surrounding area while you top its crests.  Certainly the ride brings extra thrills that you can't experience during the day when you can see upcoming turns.

Animal Kingdom tends to be a park that you can experience in a half day--make it the later part!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
