I could not plan without you all! We are in WDW for 5 nights with 4 adults, 2 kids-3,5. We have one night to fill for dinner. What is a must? We already have ADR at Boma, TRex, Prime Time. Would love to do Micky's BBQ but it is unavailable during our stay.

    Hi there, Suzanne!

With children ages 3 and 5, I have to give the high-four to Chef Mickey's. located in Disney's Contemporary Resort. You will be dining in style with the Fabulous Five - Mickey, Minnie, Donald. Goofy, and Pluto - in a bright, family-friendly setting; the food is served on a buffet, and a monorail travels through the building every few moments. What could be more spectacular than that? And the food, I've found, is really quite good in terms of flavor and options.

You might also consider the Whispering Canyon Cafe, in Disney's Wilderness Lodge. WHile there are no characters in this rustic eatery, you'll find so much hootin' and hollerin' that you won't need the extra entertainment. Kids are encouraged to participate in hobbyhorse races, singalongs, and requests for ketchup (trust me on this one!). Food is served family-style, all you care to eat. The brisket is delectable!

Those are two that immediately come to mind, based on the ages of the children. If you'd like, drop me a line with some favorites - characters or foods - and I'll be happy to offer a few more suggestions to help you plan a tasty night in the World!

Please remember that advance dining reservations can be made 180 days prior to your stay; you can give a call to (407) WDW-DINE, or visit the dining reservations center online.

I hope to hear from you!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
