Welcome to planDisney, Ryan!
Thank you for taking the time to send a question our way. We are honored to help you plan a magical Disney adventure!
I have made unforgettable memories with my daughters over the years at the Walt Disney World Resort.
There is so much for little Mouseketeers to see and do, and it is absolutely amazing to experience the magic through their eyes.
My 4-year-old daughter is also a little picky about her food, that is why I usually make reservations at restaurants offering à la carte service. Dining at à la carte restaurants gives me the chance to order anything from the menu for her, including adult entrées and even appetizers. I believe ordering appetizers is a great option for those times my princess is not super hungry.
My experience dining with my girls at buffet restaurants has always been positive because of the food variety that is available. There are many different offerings, so they have never had any issues finding something they like. Children’s selections are normally offered at buffets, which makes it easier for little ones to choose their favorite foods. Please note that kids 3 and up usually pay for their meals, especially at restaurants offering
character dining experiences. I recommend talking to Cast Members upon arriving at your dining location to verify if accommodations can be provided (subject to availability).
planDisney tip: Did you know that
menus are available online and via the My Disney Experience app? I recommend checking the menu for the restaurants you wish to dine at to verify if the options they offer would work for your little one (menus subject to change without notice).
I hope this information is helpful, Ryan. Come back to visit us if you have additional questions, and have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
See ya real soon,
Thiana
