Hi Natalia!
Thanks for your question. Although we want all guests to be treated to this magical
Disney experience, we do understand that things unforeseen or unexpected can occur, requiring families to alter their travel plans.
What happens if you don't pay your remaining balance by the due date is contingent on the reservation that you secured.
For
Magic Your Way Vacation Packages (resort room, theme park tickets,
Dining Plan, etc.),
cancellations made
30 days or more are refunded in its entirety.
If you cancel anywhere between
2 - 29 days prior to arrival, you will be charged a $200 cancellation fee. Then the remainder of what you paid (if more than $200) would be refunded.
If you cancel 1 day before, the day of, or during the actual vacation, you will be charged for the entire vacation.
If you're 29 days or less, and haven't paid the full amount, Disney reserves the right to cancel your reservation altogether. You will, at minimum, be responsible for the $200 cancellation fee.
Resort Room only reservations are a little different. For these, you must cancel at least 5 days prior to your arrival date for a full refund. If less than 5 days, you'll be responsible for the first night's room fee at minimum.
I should note that third party services, such as airlines or any personalized products you may have pre-purchased, may not be refundable. You would need to get with that company or service to see what their official policy is as it pertains to cancellations.
Good Luck, and hope you're able to have the most fantabulous Disney vacation!
Terry
