Howdy! Welcome to planDisney!
Nora, I’m so happy to be able to answer your question today! So, let’s get to it, shall we? Both a
theme park ticket and
park pass reservation are required to dine at one of the fabulous restaurants within the theme parks. So, unfortunately, you would not be able to dine at
Be Our Guest Restaurant without first securing your tickets and park reservation.
I know this may not have been the news you were hoping for, but there is so much more to enjoy at Walt Disney World without ever having to step foot in the parks! For example, there are some incredible restaurants at the Disney Resorts Collection hotels, some even with views of the fireworks over Cinderella Castle! So, if you’re looking to experience the magic, I recommend securing an Advanced Dining Reservation at spots like
‘Ohana at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort or
California Grill at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
You might also enjoy spending some time at
Disney Springs. The food here always blows me away! This should come as no surprise, as there are multiple restaurants at Disney Springs run by James Beard Award-winning Chefs! How cool is that? My personal favorite spot is
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’. I’m telling you, they have some of the best fried chicken on the planet, plus so much more. I’m still dreaming about the Okra Fries appetizer! But of course, I cannot talk about Disney Springs without mentioning
Gideon’s Bakehouse. Oh my goodness, Nora, they have the most delicious cookies you will ever have! Since I first tried them, I now always make time to stop over on each visit to Walt Disney World to pick up a supply to bring home and store in my freezer. They are THAT good, so don't miss your chance to try them out! You won't regret it.
I hope this answer has been helpful for you! We are a big bunch of Disney foodies here at planDisney, so please feel free to stop by again with another question if you'd like to hear some of our recommendations for meals outside of the parks.
See you real soon!
