Hi Ashley!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
I'm so excited to hEAR you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation during the
holiday season! It's going to be such a wonderful time to visit, as all the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs will be all decked out for the season. Not only that, but you'll also be visiting during
The World's Most Magical Celebration, commemorating Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary. There will be pixie-dusted fun at every turn!
Disney's Very Merriest After Hours event is going to be packed full of FESTIVE fun, and I can't wait to check it out. I just purchased tickets for my family yesterday! With a parade, holiday fireworks, live entertainment (I see you, Reindeer Wranglers!), and more, it's going to be pure MERRIMENT from start to finish.
Event ticketholders will be admitted to Magic Kingdom as early as 7:00 PM on the day of their event, which allows for extra time to enjoy the park, grab a bite to eat, and see the all-new
Disney Enchantment Nighttime Spectacular (debuting October 1) prior to the start of the After Hours event. While it's
possible you might be allowed entry a short time prior to 7 PM, you're not guaranteed to be inside the park for a 6 PM dining reservation.
Keep in mind when you're scheduling your dining plans for your After Hours event day that your Disney Very Merriest After Hours ticket gives you access to all-you-care-to-enjoy ice cream novelties, popcorn, select beverages, and a seasonal treat throughout the evening. I'm planning for my family to eat earlier in the day, and fill up on the treats and snacks at the party!
I hope this helps, as you make plans and preparations for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!
