    Hi!  I am not new to Disney by any means but this time we are doing something we have never done. We are having breakfast at CRT before Magic Kingdom opens. What transpertation should we take to be at the MK gates by 745? Thanks!!! =)

    Hi Tiffany! This has been a big question this year....early transportation to park character dining.  On my last visit I talked at length with a resort concierge and manager and they personally phoned the transportation department asking them to clarify this common concern and question.



    The answer we received is that the buses will start early (6:30am) to handle character dining. If it is in a park look for that bus; if it is close to a park look for that park bus (Chef Mickey's for instance would use the Magic Kingdom bus).  Be sure and be out there EARLY and once the bus arrives make sure you tell the driver where you need to be and at what time. Give yourself an hour as you don't want to stress so early in the morning and ruin your day.  Buses are supposed to come every 20 minutes. If you have truly waited over 20 minutes you are welcome to call the Bus Operation Center at 407-824-7092 to tell them you are in need of a bus. They will be able to tell you if one has come by or if one is close to your position. Always check with your resort the day before to make sure policies have not changed.



    Personally, I always take a taxi for early reservations.  You can ask to be dropped off at the Contemporary resort and walk the short walk or drop off at the Grand Floridian and take the monorail as those begin at 7am in the morning.  The cab company number on Disney property is 407-422-2222. It can take up to 15 minutes for one to arrive so give yourself plenty of time if you choose this option.  Hope this helps!
