Do not have a mobile phone, so how do I reserve rides when I am at my hotel?

Hi Ann, and welcome back to planDisney! We love to have you here, so thank you for sending another question! Let's dive in?

Even without a cell phone, you can still have a fantastic time at Walt Disney World Resort. It just means you'll have to approach things a bit differently and be open to lots of flexibility. While some of the park's bells and whistles rely on smartphone technology, don't worry - plenty of magical experiences are still waiting for you. So, as long as you're willing to go with the flow and enjoy the ride, you're guaranteed to have an unforgettable vacation!

The new Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ service is now available on the My Disney Experience mobile app. This service allows you to create your personalized itinerary by providing information about attraction wait times, recommendations for nearby dining, and the option to purchase Lightning Lanes. However, it is essential to note that due to the dynamic nature of these applications, which consider factors such as crowds, wait times, and weather, they can only be accessed through a mobile device and cannot be pre-planned using a computer.

And don't worry, there's still plenty of fun to be had! The majority of the attractions at the theme park have standby lines available, so you can still enjoy them without having to join a Virtual Queue. And if you're feeling peckish, you can still order delicious food at the window of most counter-service locations. Plus, you can easily book Advanced Dining Reservations and Enchanting Extras from the comfort of your desktop computer.

You can also contact the Concierge desk at your Disney Resort Collection Hotel for assistance if you encounter any issues. As you know, most people will use mobile devices to book Virtual Queues and Lightning Lanes starting at 7am, but Cast Members can help you with anything else you might need.

Ann, I hope this helps with your planning. Whether you bring a mobile device or not, I know you will have an absolutely fabulous time! The Walt Disney World Resort is still (and always will be!) The Most Magical Place on Earth and all your favourite things will be there waiting for you to enjoy and capture with your heart.

I hope to see you again real soon, and please do not hesitate to contact us anytime if you have more questions.
