MagicBand+ on Friends; Main Street; pairing

    I do not have a magic band + and am wondering if my band that I currently have will work. My family purchased them in 2022.

    I'm so happy to hear that you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth later this year! I hope you're getting excited about this trip! Be sure to add Disney Starlight to your list of things to do while at Magic Kingdom! This nighttime parade is debuting late July and is supposed to be absolutely dreamy! I cannot wait! 

    I'm happy to let you know that your MagicBand from 2022 should work, Terri! My husband has a standard MagicBand that we purchased around the same time, and it still works like a dream! If you get to the parks and realize that your MagicBand does not work, you can always purchase a new MagicBand+ and link it to your Disney account while you're on vacation. You will find many throughout the gift shops at the theme parks and the Disney hotels.

    You can also link your ticket to your mobile device using the Walt Disney World MagicMobile Service. This could be a good backup for you just in case your old MagicBand does not work during your vacation.
