Hello, Robert!
Thank you for sending your question to planDisney! If your family is like mine, you may have a lot of luggage when sailing on the Disney Cruise Line. There are so many things to bring, from swimsuits to pirate costumes to dinner outfits. I try sticking to the
Disney Cruise Line packing list, but it is so difficult! I want to bring all of the things!
My family usually receives our Guest Travel Booklets and Luggage Tag Folders in the mail a few weeks before our Disney Cruises. If you have not received yours yet, there is still time! However, blank
luggage tags can also be picked up from the porters at your departure port. Just add your reservation information and stateroom number to the luggage tags before dropping off your bags. They will be delivered to your stateroom later in the day. It is super easy!
I recommend bringing a small, carry-on bag to keep with you. This could include a bathing suit if you want to try one of the water areas on embarkation day. Zipping down a water slide is the perfect way to begin a Disney Cruise! I also keep medications, sunscreen, and a portable battery with me in case my phone needs to be charged before we head to our stateroom. I use my phone quite a bit aboard Disney Cruises. The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app can be downloaded to your mobile phone, and it contains many helpful features for your cruise, such as the Daily Activity Schedule and an Onboard Chat option. I use the Onboard Chat to make plans with my family members staying in other staterooms on our cruise.
Robert, I hope you have an incredible vacation aboard the Disney Cruise Line! Please reach out to planDisney again if you have other questions.
Happy sailing!
Jen
