Hi Missy,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues linking your ticket. I know I love seeing tickets and Disney Resort reservations linked to my account, because it makes my vacation feel like “
just a dream away!”
There are
a few things to check when you’re unable to link your ticket to your account. First, check that you are entering the correct 12-digit ticket code from your ticket. If you’re on the Walt Disney World website, visit the “My Plans” section and scroll down to “+ Add More Plans.” Select “Link Reservations and Purchases,” then click “Tickets.” This page has sample photos to help you locate the ID number.
If someone else purchased the tickets, they may need to reassign the ticket to your account. They can visit the Tickets & Passes section of their MyDisney account and reassign the ticket to you.
For your friend to reassign the ticket to your name, you must be connected through your Family & Friends List.
If you booked a Disney Resort hotel room and ticket package, you can return to the “Link Reservations and Purchases” page and click “Resort Reservation” to enter your code. This will link your Resort reservation and ticket to your account.
If you’re still having trouble linking your ticket to your account, I recommend calling the number listed under “
Tickets and Hotel Reservations” for assistance from a Cast Member.
After your tickets are linked, you can purchase Lightning Lane Passes
once your booking window opens. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can purchase your pass and make your Lightning Lane selections up to 7 days before your stay. If you’re not staying at a Disney Resort, your purchase window opens 3 days before your park visit. You must have your tickets linked to your account to be eligible to purchase Lightning Lane Passes.
I hope I’ve shared a method that works for you, Missy.
Disney Parks Blog just shared that
The Beak and Barrel will be opening in Magic Kingdom on August 29, along with a sneak peek at the menu and exclusive merchandise. Reservations can be made beginning August 14. Will you be visiting after it opens? If you have any future questions, come back and see us again at
