It is not letting me cancel my reservations with my magic key pass as I am unable to attend that date

    Hiya, Kayla!

I’m sorry to hear you won’t be able to visit the Disneyland Resort on the date you originally planned. Now, is Experiment 626 causing trouble with the reservation system? I’m sorry you are having issues with canceling your park reservation. I’ll go through the steps I use to cancel reservations made with my Magic Key and offer a few thoughts on what might help to make the action succeed.

To find my existing park reservations, I go to the “Future Plans” screen of the Disneyland mobile app. It can be found in the ☰ feature menu of the app. When I tap on a park reservation on the “Future Plans” screen, it opens the "My Theme Park Reservations" page of the Disneyland website in my mobile device’s web browser. After logging into my Disneyland account, I can see all of my upcoming park reservations. With the Holidays, Disney100, and Lunar New Year all coming up soon, I have several made!

From the "My Theme Park Reservations" page, I click the “Cancel Reservation” link for a reservation I can’t make. That opens a page that asks me to verify which passes and tickets to include in the cancellation. Then I click “Continue” to a page where I can review the changes I requested and finally click “Continue” again to finalize the reservation cancellation.

If these steps aren’t quite working for you, I recommend trying some of these suggestions:

    • If your Disneyland Resort Magic Key pass is linked to more than one Disneyland account, you might try logging into the different accounts to see if another one has access to cancel your reservation.
    • Use the advanced settings for your web browser to clear the website date for “go.com,” the domain used by the Disneyland website, and try again.
    • Use a different device or web browser to visit the "My Theme Park Reservations" page.
    • If all else fails, I recommend giving a call to a Cast Member with the Magic Key Holders phone service.

Tony’s Tip: As a reminder, existing theme park reservations may be canceled up until 11:59 PM of the day before the reservation. Missed reservations tied to a Magic Key pass are subject to the Magic Key Terms and Conditions and the current “no-show” policy. At this time, the Magic Key no-show policy is enforced if a Passholder misses three reservations in a 90-day period. When that happens, the Passholder will not be able to book new park reservations until after 30 days have passed. Hopefully, it doesn’t come to that. I don’t like the idea of going a month without being able to book a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! I’m guessing you feel the same way.

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney, Kayla!
